Highgate House
This imposing 19th-century villa in Highgate had fallen into disrepair. Though restored by a developer into three residences, the house lacked character and charm internally, despite its grand exterior and proportions.

Our approach was to maximise historic character while layering in contemporary detailing to create a hard-working family home. The developer’s staircase was replaced with a timeless ribbon of plaster and timber treads, opening up space for a compact yet luxurious master en-suite.
A new bedroom was added in the roof space, making use of every corner to create calm, adaptable family areas. The kitchen was redesigned and paired with a discreet pantry to make entertaining as effortless as possible.
